CDC Guidance for Providing Dental Care During COVID-19
Updated: April 8, 2020
Dear AAIP Member:
The American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics' Board of Directors, after evaluating a wealth of available information from government and private health sources about the spread of COVID-19, and speaking with representatives of our component and affiliated organizations throughout the world, has decided to cancel the annual meeting scheduled for October 9-10, 2020, at Marriott McDowell Mountains, in Scottsdale, Arizona. Our 2021 meeting will be held in the Fall in Arizona.
For the past three weeks our headquarters building in the Scottsdale Airpark has ceased operations, and will remain closed until the pandemic comes to an end. I am working out of my home office with my assistants, and we will continue to take telephone calls at (480) 588-8062 and respond to e-mail notifications at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our priority is the health and safety of our worldwide members and their patients. We will continue to respond to your questions and concerns as best we can. New information will appear on our website (AAIPUSA.COM) as it becomes available.
Please note the following:
CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES:
For information about CE courses conducted by Dr. Virgil Mongalo (Live Implant Training) in Mexico and Nicaragua, contact Ethel at (786) 249-4510

New AAIP members who joined within the past two months will receive their medallions, certificates, ribbons, and pins as soon as we are able to return to our headquarters building. If you have not already done so, please inform us exactly how you want your names placed on active member, fellowship, and/or masters certificates.
Your names have been added to our mailing list and you will receive the June issue of Implant Prosthodontics Monographs by regular mail. Copies of the March issue were individually mailed from my home office. If you did not receive a copy of the March 2020 issue on tissue conditioning and chairside denture liners, please contact us and a copy will be sent to you by first class mail.
ANNUAL DUES FOR 2020:
AAIP final dues statements for 2020 were not sent due to the COVID-19 situation. If you have not paid your 2020 dues of $250.00, please feel free to pay them anytime at your convenience.
